SEO Friendly URLs and Search Appliances

This is one of those posts that I have been meaning to write for a long time now. It is a very long post, and not really able to be read on a single page. I have looked into pagination for posts, however it seems that this is only really for paging between posts, not breaking a post up into multiple pages. Consequently I created a ‘page’ to hold the contents of this post – named Tomes1.

So my first lengthy article is on the encoding methods useful for search engine optimisation friendly URLs for search results » Enjoy!

Footnotes:

  1. Yes I know that the ‘tome’ is generally used in the context (sometimes humourously) of a large weighty scholarly book – but I like it!
